marshaatn Posted April 5, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 5, 2004 Hi to all of the aft cabin specialists, Please let me know which cabin you would prefer -- JS No. 7392 or E-1 No. 8390. It looks like the balcony is a little deeper on 8390, but not quite as wide as 7392. I have looked at all of Bonnie Voyager's pics, and still find myself undecided. Opinions anyone??? Thanks in advance, Marsha <applet code="countdown.class" CODEBASE="http://*************/java-sys" width="203" height="25"> <param name="font" value="lcdb0"> <param name="year" value=2004> <param name="month" value=7> <param name="day" value=02> <param name="hour" value=16> </applet> Until we sail the Voyager of the Seas! pudy68 Posted April 5, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 5, 2004 I've stayed in 7692 (AOS), which is the same as 7392, just opposite sides of the ship. The room was big and so was the balcony! marshaatn Posted April 5, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted April 5, 2004 Thanks for responding, pudy68. Did you get much sun on the balcony of 7692? The balcony of 8390 looks like it is more open, but it only has the one door going out to the balcony. I like lots of sunlight coming in. Thanks again for any comments. <applet code="countdown.class" CODEBASE="http://*************/java-sys" width="203" height="25"> <param name="font" value="lcdb0"> <param name="year" value=2004> <param name="month" value=7> <param name="day" value=02> <param name="hour" value=16> </applet> Until we sail the Voyager of the Seas! Bonnie Voyager Posted April 5, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 5, 2004 8390 is a sunnier balcony than 7392. Neither of these cabins get a lot of sun inside the cabin though. Bonnie Voyager...a.k.a. pudy68 Posted April 5, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 5, 2004 Well, the amount of sun varied by the time of day. There's never "full sun" due to some structural parts of the ship that obscure the view and cast some shadows. If you want a deck to do all of your tanning, aft is not the place. If you want to do nekkid tanning 7692 is not private enough! Jimbo Posted April 5, 2004 #6 Share Posted April 5, 2004 Whats the $$$ difference......if there are only 2 of you, 8390 will be plenty big enough, save the money take 8390, also 8390 will have a much better view from it's balcony. marshaatn Posted April 6, 2004 Author #7 Share Posted April 6, 2004 Thanks to all who have answered. Jimbo, the price difference is around $400. My biggest dilemna, other than the sun factor, is giving up the bathtub!! My five year old daughter will be with us and she is a bathtub girl. <applet code="countdown.class" CODEBASE="http://*************/java-sys" width="203" height="25"> <param name="font" value="lcdb0"> <param name="year" value=2004> <param name="month" value=7> <param name="day" value=02> <param name="hour" value=16> </applet> Until we sail the Voyager of the Seas! Jimbo Posted April 6, 2004 #8 Share Posted April 6, 2004 marshaatn Think you better double check that price difference again between a Category JS and Category E1 for that sailing date in July. I believe its alot more then $400 total. Check it out. Unbelievable the prices they are getting for those sailings out of NJ. Just looked at your sailing and I believe the price difference is more like somewhere between $3500 to $4000 between a Category JS and Category E1 for the 3 of you. marshaatn Posted April 8, 2004 Author #9 Share Posted April 8, 2004 Thanks, Jimbo. Yes, you are right, but we booked the JS in June of 2003 before the prices were so high. That is part of my dilemna; I hate giving up the great price I have on the JS! With the prices the way they are now, the difference is really about $400, since the third person price is actually a bit more now than when we booked. Thanks again for your help. My husband really wants to move to the E-1 cabin because it looks like it is in a sunnier location. We may have waited too long though; but either way we still will be fine! Thanks for your great help.
