sodemall Posted May 22, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 22, 2008 Hello, has anyone who visited Florence from La Spezia seen the Statue of David? Are there long queues? Is there sufficient time on the trip to see the Statue? Any help much appreciated. Kindest regards
YESME Posted May 26, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 26, 2008 If i was you I would forget the 2hour queues to see David and visit a pizza palace instead, after all you are in Italy and this is what Italy is famous for.
northanstar Posted June 15, 2008 #3 Share Posted June 15, 2008 Hi We spent a few days in Florence last summer, it's beautiful. To answer your question, yes there are long queues to visit Michelagelo's David. We pre-booked our visit online before we left the UK. You have to book a specific time to arrive, which I guesss will be more difficillt for you. I suggest you check with your cruiseline to see if they offer a tour that includes what you want to see. They may offer queue jump tickets. Enjoy! Northanstar
