Try the P & O web site Careers section (bottom of the page, last section) They give details of current vacancies within the company, both shore and sea going. If you want to work in the on-board shops or some of the other concessions, I believe these are run by a company called Harding Bros. Try their web-site. I think there are also a few books around which cover working on cruise ships, the pros and cons and how and where to apply, so have a good look in the travel section of a large book shop. Hope that helps.

Most cruise lines have a careers/recruitment section at the bottom of their web page.

Just be prepared for working the whole length of your contract without a full day off. Unless you work as a Therapist for Steiners then you get a day off a week.

You do have to share accomodation which is nothing like passanger cabins, the food served in the messes get very monotonius.

I know RCI/Celebrity only hold interviews twice a year in London, think it is January and June

It depends what u r doing on board?

entertainment staff, theatre company etc have their own cabins!

For the stadium theatre company with p&o they advertise twice a year in the stage magazine (order from w h smiths) or beauty etc may be through the likes of steiners etc depending on the cruise line?

I always wanted to be a dancer or entertainment officer but they said i could only be interveiwed after i had experience eg holiday park! so pontins it was!

I never ended up going, one of my biggest regrets, too tied down now!

Let me know what you want to do as i know a lot of peple in the industry and i canm ask them!

:)
