gosport11 Posted May 25, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 25, 2008 hi all a few words about our cruise,it was really good the crew couldnt do enough for us,altho there was only a few cc members a welcome party was arranged thanks to steve n anton a big suprise many thanks i could find fault like why doesnt the sun shine on me balcony all day,and other stupid things like that ,when people book a cruise dont they realise its a sea going vessel and not a 5 star hotel in maiami and suprise suprise it will move and shudder some times found the food service etc all to be better than good,in europe because its a smaller vessel it can dock near the port entrances so no shuttle busses needed a big bonus, but that means you have to walk a fair bit, found some ports better than others but you have to do your research yes we could fault minor things but on the whole we had a bl----- good time a top tip breakfast in the resturant !!!!! graham n jayne fatter, browner n poorer brits :)

BJC Posted May 26, 2008 #5 Share Posted May 26, 2008 Welcome back Gosport, Glad to hear you had a wonderful cruise, but sorry about the sun not shining on your balcony all day. I remember on Galaxy we had a CC morning tea, where Jenifer, a lovely Assistant Cruise Director from Australia, asked if there were any problems or concerns, anyway after about half an hour of pure trivial nonsense I said “I have a complaint”, Jenifer looking rather surprised at me knowing I was from Aus, she said “oh! Mr C, what is the problem?” to which I replied, with a wink, “I can’t get the toilet paper to tear along the perforations!” The silly part was that no one else there got it, anyway at dinner that evening we received a complementary bottle of wine from the Cruise Director, who thought it was the best laugh they all had in a long while!:p By the way did you get along side in Monte Carlo, if so whereabouts, or did you have to anchor?
