I tried to call RCCL to get quotes but they are gone due to the holiday. But I know I can count on you guys to get answer.

 

We are planning for cruise maybe this coming October (fall break 08) or Sping break 09 family cruise, parents late 30's kids 17 and 13 both girls. Would a Promenade family room be big enough for us or should we book a connecting regular Pomenade room. How many people fits in a family Promenade room on the Freedom size ship? It says it is 300 sq/ft is there a division in the room?

We like connecting rooms. You get an extra bathroom that way.

even though we don't have your exact situation ( 5 of us 3 kids 19,17(me!),10 and Mom and Grandmom) we are doing two speretae rooms it would be tight if you try and stuff everyone into one room unless it's a suite.

I would personally go with the two connecting cabins. Save money and get about the same amount of room with a bonus bathroom!

If you can afford connecting cabins go with that. Just the extra bathroom is a plus and I am sure your DDs would love the feeling of having their own cabins to themselves.

Thanks for everybody's response. Maybe I tried to call too early this morning. We will maybe do the 2 inside connected promenade rooms.

The family promenade room is awesome. The bunk beds are in a slightly separate area, and you do get the 2 windows for viewing.
