weather in anchorage

What's the weather like today (Memorial Day) in Anchorage?

From here, it appears that Anchorage is clear with just a few clouds over the mountains, just like here (across the inlet).

But I just checked a webcam, and it looks a little hazy or foggy.

A gorgeous day from Wasilla to Denali!

Blue skies and sunny but a bit windy but the extended forecast shows the mid 60s for the mid week and then clouds and rain moving in for next weekend.

 

But then again, they're wrong all the time. Was suppose to rain this past Friday and it did but Saturday was suppose to be clear and it poured.

Thanks. We arrive to ANC on Sat when the rain is supposed to arrive. And depart out of Whittier on Monday. If the weathermen are right, we are going to have a lot of rain. But they rarely get it right in Atlanta so we have our fingers crossed. But bringing rain gear. If it is rainy, does that mean we wont have to deal with mosquitos?

No those suckers come out in the rain too. What you hope for is a slight breeze.
