lagbunch8 Posted May 27, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 27, 2008 I have taken 2 -7 nights on the magic and now I have a 4 night on the wonder booked (yeah). Are there formal nights on the 4 nights? Pirate night? Which nights are these? Anything else I need to know about the wonder vs magic? Has anyone done the day at Atlantis? This is a surprise trip for my soon to be 9 and 10 yr olds. Thank you! Mary
mom x4,grandma x4 Posted May 27, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 27, 2008 I know they have a pirate night and one dress up night wich I dont remember them calling it a formal night, I think it said semi formal. It has been a long time since we did a 4 day. friends have done the day at Atlantis and had a blast. I have only done the aquarium which was really great. I'm sure others will be able to help you more with details about the Atlantis day. have a magical cruise, mom x4,grandma x4

We dress every night but, DS will have to bring his suit if there is a formal night. I am going to book the Atlantis day as soon as they will let me lol. owensjro Posted May 27, 2008 #4 Share Posted May 27, 2008 There are two cruise-casual nights, one pirate night, and one "dress up" night. On the DCL website they still refer to it as semi-formal but the navigators say "dress up". On our 4N in April, 07 pirate night was on Tuesday night after Castaway Cay. MC-AZ-07 Posted May 27, 2008 #5 Share Posted May 27, 2008 On the May 11th cruise, 'dress up' night was Mon. (I think), pirate night was Tues. I didn't pay much attention but no one seemed dressed up, much less formal. I wouldn't pack a suit unless you want to.

I'll probably leave the suit at home then. The less baggage the better.
mom x4,grandma x4 Posted May 27, 2008 #7 Share Posted May 27, 2008 The Wonder is always more casual in the dress for dinner. My husband never wears a suit and we have never felt out of place. If you book Palos you should take a suit or at least a nice jacket, but for regular dinners, I agree with the others, dont bother bringing it. mom x4,grandma x4
