in 24 hours I begin my Alaskan adventure on HAL's Amsterdam, but because this is my first cruise, my first time in Alaska and for that matter, my first time in America, I started my blog a month ago to document the build up.

 

I set up this blog primarily to keep my family and friends spread all over Australia updated on my travels so a lot of it is just like a continued conversation and is becoming an accidental travelogue.
