Riverside or Mariott Beach Ft. Lauderdale

Both are about the same price (Feb) so I was wondering which people would suggest.

If you love the ocean and the beach then Marriott Harbor Beach Resort. If you love shopping, then the Riverside. Both are wonderful properties.

I stayed at the Marriott Harbor Beach at the end of April and found it to be an exceptional property. Lovely pool area and a very nice, wide beach. If you are able to obtain an oceanfront or ocean view room that faces south, one has a great view of the shipping channel leading into Port Everglades. Service and dining were of a high, friendly standard. The only negative was a bar area that blends into Ocean 3030, their upscale restaurant. This area can become too crowded and noisey at time.
