SunPacific Posted May 27, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 27, 2008 Hi all. We are planning to stay on the ship in Ensenada. Which is the better side for scenic viewing from a balcony, port or starboard? Thanks! Carol
cathyz Posted May 27, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 27, 2008 Hi all. We are planning to stay on the ship in Ensenada. Which is the better side for scenic viewing from a balcony, port or starboard? Thanks! Carol Both times we've been to Ensenada (Paradise and Elation), we were tied up to the dock on the starboard side, but there is more than one place to tie up and I've seen ships facing both ways there. Also, you are pretty far into the port area and there is stuff to see (such as it is) from both sides of the ship. There are a few pics in my signature. Cuizer2 Posted May 28, 2008 #3 Share Posted May 28, 2008 I would not rate the dock area in Ensenada very high for sightseeing. However, both times I have been to Ensenada, Carnival has docked as in the photo below ...
SunPacific Posted May 29, 2008 Author #4 Share Posted May 29, 2008 Thanks for the posts - From what I gather, the ship can dock either way depending on the weather or other ships in the port. We booked a port side balcony so let the chips roll where they may!:D Carol
KSCnCA Posted June 1, 2008 #5 Share Posted June 1, 2008 The best viewing is of the partiers coming up the pier and the gangway. My sister and I sat at our window watching many people stumble back to the ship. :D We had a pretty good view from our port side cabin: U66.
