From our experience, I would say not to expect champagne for a special occasion, unless you are willing to pay for it. However, I believe Azamara still offers a complimentary bottle of their preferred brand in your cabin, if you are in a Suite.

 

You definitely can get a cake to celebrate the occasion, as long as you let the Maitre'd know about it in advance. You can also have your TA note it on your booking. I would still confirm it once I was on the ship.
