Dry Dock for AOS in May?

My wife and I are scheduled for the AOS on May 23rd. Is this supposed dry dock going to affect our cruise?? [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif[/img]

Looks like it goes in after the cruise that ends on May 12th.

We're going in July. That will be nice with a cleaned up ship.

I was on AOS in March 04, and our waiters told us the ship was going to dry dock mid-May. They said the 10-day sailing from May 2nd-12th would lead to the dry dock. So, I assume the ship will hit Freeport Bahamas around Saturday, May 15th...and then I am told it is a 2-week dry dock. But, that information is only what my waiter had told me.

If you are sailing during the week of May 23rd, that must be the first week back from the dry dock. You'll be on a fresh ship!

Does anyone know what maintenance is scheduled for the AOS while it's in dry dock?

I don't think they would take the ship out of service just to clean the carpets and refresh the rooms.

Hey you guys going on the AOS in May--Keep it nice! We're going on June 6th. We were on it last June and it was georgeous then, I can't imagine what needs refurbishing. Have fun!
