Will be going on the Xmas cruise and was wondering if things have improved. would you recommend driving and parking or taking a cab.
BobBeaSea Posted May 31, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 31, 2008 There are some threads about Cape Liberty on the East Coast ports board. I've put the link below. We cruised out of Cape Liberty last year....we had no trouble with parking etc. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=
megr1125 Posted May 31, 2008 #3 Share Posted May 31, 2008 it's really not THAT bad....just allow plenty of time, have some coffee and have a lot of patience!!! make sure you have good directions, and a good navigator. the problem is mainly that the traffic in and out is all the same way (hard to describe..) there are just a LOT of cars..... I live in Jersey, so i am used to the traffic....BUT i prefer to cab it from near EWR to the port......
