Virgin Gorda Baths & Snorkel Tour

We booked this tour through NCL for a June cruise. This is the one that takes you to Virgin Gorda on some sort of a boat or catamaran. Has anyone done this particular tour? If so, about how long do you actually get at Virgin Gorda? Also, are you able to do everything on your own - swim, snorkel, and walk the caves at your own time and leisure or do you have to follow a leader as a group?

You can do everything on your own and there is some pretty good snorkeling right off the beach (Devil's Bay). I have never gone on NCL and I'm not familiar with their excursions. But you can walk to the ferry docks in about 8 minutes and take Speedy's ferry up and back for $30 per person including transfers (kids are $20). Admission to the Baths is $3 for adults. We caught a 9:30 ferry up and were at the Baths by 10 and spent 2 solid hours there and caught the open air cab/bus at 12:15 and got the 12:30 ferry back. You don't follow a leader if you do it on your own. But there are guides in the Baths areas if you have questions and there is an order to go through, so you may be behind others.
