HappyStamper Posted October 11, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 11, 2004 We are taking our first cruise vacation next month and already considering a cruise to celebrate our 25th anniversary in the summer of 2006. I keep reading about the benefits of booking future cruises while onboard but haven't seen anything about how much of a deposit is required. I would like to know how much to money to have available for a deposit since we don't use credit cards. TIA
missymatt Posted October 11, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 11, 2004 It is $500 total, not per person, and I think, not sure, you have two weeks to pay it after you book on the ship. Not certain though, we paid it while on the ship.

We booked an 11 night cruise on our last cruise and our deposit was $900... though the cruise we just booked for Jan 2, 2005(6 Night) was $500. springtxbill Posted October 11, 2004 #4 Share Posted October 11, 2004 The deposit does change based on the length of the cruise. The deposit on board is the same as any deposit and can be found in the brochues.:)
