Martini's and Oysters

Many of us enjoy the Martini Bar on the Celebrtity Ships but but they have no unique food item that one can enjoy while sipping the wide variety of great martinis prepared by the "X" crew. One food item that meets this criteria that is rarely servred on a celebrity ship are oysters!! I believe on the "M" class ships cavair is available in the champagne bar.......would it make sense to offer a variety of Oysters.....assuming they were available (by season), from either the port of embarkcation or enroute, and offered at a reasonable price as a "differernt" appetizer for dinner. You can have Oysters on a half shell, Oyster Rockerfeller.....to whatever. This would especially be great for the Alaska cruises. This option would definitely provide some variety to the Martini Bar option and besides we all know the value of good Oysters especially on a cruise!!! Thoughts

Alot of people appreciate Oysters and Martinis and anything would be better than what they now serve you in the Martini Bar. I was simply looking to solicit/offer something different rather than pretzels or a mixed snack. You dont need to enjoy oysters raw......there are plently of ways to prepare cooked oysters. If oysters are not pleasing to your taste would you prefer something else??

Although we always enjoy our stops at the Martini Bar, it could use some change other than a price increase.
