Changing Cruise After Deposit

I put down a deposit on a Nov 8 NCL cruise last week. Yesterday I found out that I am pregnant and will be 26 weeks by the end of the cruise (NCL won't let you sail past 24 weeks).

 

Does anyone know if NCL will let you apply the deposit to another cruise? We are Latitudes members and are willing to sail in Sept or October.

I don't have experience with NCL in that regard, but I have changed a cruise with HAL, no problem.

As long as it's not past final payment, moving a deposit is no problem.

I have done it a couple of times with no problem. One time I did have a problem with what was probably a new customer service rep. All I did was charge a new deposit and cancel the old cruise. Both transactions hit my credit card in the same month.

Did you book directly with NCL or with a TA?

Still shouldn't be a problem if you're not past the final payment date.

Just cancel. You are outside the timeline and they will refund your money. Then book whatever you need to later.

Because of a work schedule problem I had to change from 5/25 to 5/11 Spirit sailings. I had booked through NCL and had no problem at all. They just transferred my deposit to the new booking. Be sure and get e-mails confirming all changes.

 

And just think, on your next cruise you'll be using the Kids Club program!

Thanks. I booked with a TA that I have used before. I am going to call Monday. Being my first pregnancy, I dont want to risk a cruise that late. But a think a relaxing "babymoon" a few months out should be nice for me and my hubby!

I saw a posting that you had on another boad regarding your flight back from copenhagen at 9am. We are taking the same flight in May and are wondering if you bought a princess transfer to the airport or did you take a cab, and what time you were able to disembark to make your 9am flight? thanks!
