San Diego Ellie Posted June 9, 2008 #1 Share Posted June 9, 2008 Does anyone have the scale of how much onboard credit you receive for future bookings while onboard a Celebrity ship? I know it varies by length of voyage and type of stateroom. I am interested in the credits issued for both outside (no veranda) and inside cabins for trips of 7 days, 11 days, and 14 days, Thanks to anyone who can help. hancock Posted June 9, 2008 #2 Share Posted June 9, 2008 Last time I cruised on Celebrity, they had changed the onboard booking OBC. It depended on the price of the cabin , not the length of the trip. I do know that a $2000 cruise got a $50 OBC. I did not book a cruise. I hope they go back to the old system! Stockholders of 100 shares get OBC's of $100,$200 or $250 depending on the length of the cruise.
GACRUISER456 Posted June 9, 2008 #3 Share Posted June 9, 2008 I just booked in May while on board. Here are the new OBC rates: $1 - $2499 = $50 OBC $2500 - $3999 = $100 OBC $4000 - $5999 = $150 OBC $6000 - $7499 = $200 OBC $7500 and higher = $300 OBC Or, for a $100 deposit, you can buy the Celebrity certificate which you can use any time in the future to book a cruise and you will get the same OBC as if you booked it while on a cruise. This $100 is non-refundable however where as booking a cruise can be cancelled.
