Back to back on Century

I have a question for the folks who have cruised with Celebrity. We are thinking of doing a back to back on the Century and wanted to check and see how they handle that. On Princess I was told that you had to completely pack up and get off, hang out and then reboard later that day even if in the same room.

We've done and continue to love B2B sailings. In Miami (and other US ports) you have to get off, go through immigration and you can reboard, normally within an hour. Overseas it's much simpler, no immigration required.

You do not have to repack your stuff unless you're moving cabins but you never have to take your luggage off. Your cabin steward will move everything for you (for a tip of course) if you wish them to do so while you go touring..

There are some weird situations that occur on the west coast where nonsense takes over due to US government regulations.

San Diego-Ensenada to Hawaii, busing and reboarding is required and certain short Mercury cruises out of Seattle in the fall have similar limitations.
