CTN - Captain's Cocktail Party ?

Does anyone know if the CTN's have Captain's Cocktail Parties??? I know some are cruising this weekend on a CTN - can you please let us know when you get back?? Thanks a lot!!!!

Thanks. I was looking at some capers from the Legend's CTN from 2 yrs ago and there was one - didn't know if they still had one or not.

Also not on the Holiday in September. First cruise where I've never even seen the captain. I'm assuming we had one.:confused: :D

Hey, Dolfin - let us know how your CTN out of NY goes. I'm looking for port info, staffing differences etc.. I'd really hate to drag my SIL on her 1st cruise (CTN 6/05) and have her hate it...

I never saw a cruise director on my cruise to nowhere!

 

The Captain party did take place on the Legend two years ago, and found him hanging out in the lounge under the mini stairs with the waterfall. This was on formal night.

I'll be sailing on Victory's CTN this Saturday, out of Norfolk. Serene56 just very kindly sent me copies of the Capers from her CTN on Victory in June. There was a Captain's cocktail party on the second night - which also happened to be FORMAL night (even though the doc's say there isn't a formal night!)

Thanks. That was my wife's grandmother from Scotland. 85 years old at the time, and had never been on a cruise, so we took her along.

 

All she kept saying as she was looking around the ship was "How and I going to put this into words and tell my friends back home."

 

She died peacefully the following Spring......
