jp1978 Posted June 10, 2008 #1 Share Posted June 10, 2008 My wife and I will be cruising out of Seattle on HAL from July 18-25. We have a room with a balcony. We enjoy being outdooors and will be on the balcony and around the ship as much as possible. We also enjoy the formal dinners and will be dining with the "as you wish" option. I am sure we will take a flightseeing shore excursion. What type of weather, temperatures can we expect during a July Alaskan cruise? What do we need to pack in terms of: footwear, rain gear, sweaters, layers, dining wear? Thanks for the help! :)

However I would still pack a rain/windproof jacket, a fleece or sweater that you can wear under the jacket, a hat or cap and a pair of leather sneakers that you have sprayed with a waterproofing spray. You should get a booklet from HAL or your TA describing what you need for dinners.
