Tampa - Staying at Westin Harbour Island - Publix Question

Is it possible to take the transit system (or light rail, whatever it's called) from Harbour Island over to the Publix? Thanks in advance!!

you can take the trolley thing (NOT the streetcar...more like a bus) and get off near by or you can walk...it's maybe, hmmm 5 or 6 blocks give or take....i walked from the marriott in july last year in the HOT! i think i caught the trolley bus thing back.

 

(the marriott is a little closer than the westin...you can google map it...i also saw a tampa map here someplace last year......you can probably google that too..i think it was from the visitors' bureau.)

Make a left out the front door. Go under the convention Center, cross the bridge over the Hillsborough River and go 1 block south on the Bayshore. Sounds like a lot but only 15 minutes. Or take a taxi!
