Celebrity Summit Med - Port or Starboard???

Can someone tell me which side of the ship would be best to view the ports, especially Venice while there over night? This is our Itinerary.

We were on the port side for the sailaway from Venice on Emerald Princess in May. We were able to view the city from our balcony over coffee and croissants. Very special! Other ports varied a lot.
