Daylight Hours in Summer?

DevBrown

Recommended Posts

A group of us are cruising to Alaska for the first tiem on July 20th, sailing on Star Princess out of Seattle. I've heard that the sun doesn't set in the summer. What should we expect? Will it get dark and for how long each.

I apologize in advance if this has been asked and answered already.

Depends what part of Alaska you go to. The further north, the less darkness.Fairbanks is different from Ketchican.

We are headed to Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway and Victoria, BC.

I was just wanting a general idea of what to expect.
