I'm so glad you've convinced her to wait a week and to leave her child at home (since romance seems important).

 

Now Liberty of the Seas has an Eastern Caribbean sailing out of Miami (most RCCL ships doing 7 night cruises sail out of Miami not Port Everglades) on January 3rd. Otherwise Freedom of the Seas next 7 night Eastern Caribbean sailing is January 11th out of Port of Miami.

 

These 2 ships are part of RCCL's newest class of ships with 2 specialty restaurants, an adults only solarium with cantilvered whirlpools, the Flowrider, ice skating, mini golf, etc.

Yes, certainly...... I say FLL but realize it is only 45 minute ride between FLL and Miami. Once in a while we see a RCI ship in Port Everglades (from where we always sail on HAL) but most go out of Miami. Not a problem.

She can pick the best airfare and consider what the transfer costs would be in deciding into which airport to fly. There are plenty of options to travel between the two cities.

The Liberty is the newest ship sailing from Florida now. The Independence is the newest, but is sailing in Europe for a while before coming across to the states.
