Theme nights

This is our first time on P&O

I think I read somewhere that P&O have theme nights, like Black and White, or was it 70's or was it just loud shirts.

Please can you help me we are going on Artemis in July, and we want to be able to join in with everything.

I cannot find the orginal posts I read earlier this year.

Can anyone help me please?

There will be a black & white night, a tropical night and country and western night and a 70's night on a 14n+ cruise.

Nearly everyone adheres to the b&w night - men in black tux or white tux jacket with a variety of black or /and white ties. woman black/andor white dresses and bags etc.

About 50% + people dress for tropical, men in loud hawian type flowery shirts, woman flowery dresses/blouses.

Noy many people bother with country and western or 60/70's but its up to you

Just received our tickets for Oriana - 6th July to the Baltic (14 nights). They mention only two theme nights - B&W & C&W. So I can be really boring and wear my DJ to the B&W (perhaps with white socks to add that je ne sais quoi) and my jeans to the C&W (!).

Being serious, though, I'm a bit disappointed that it's 4 formal, 4 semi-formal and 6 smart casual. I was hoping for a few less smart casual but maybe that's the way of things now. I seem to remember 4/3/3 on a cruise on Victoria in 1999.

Yes always seem to be 4 formal on a 14n cruise.

Yes you tux is fine, perhaps look out for a different bow tie instead of the plain black one? Many black & white combos out there. Hubby bought a nice one from m&s this year,
