But it's such a long way off! Have read so much about the Miracle Aft Suites, we decided to book one for our 2009 cruise. Only 506 days. Thanks to everyone for their reviews & pics.:)

We just got off the Miracle last Tueday and had cabin 4228. It is a great cabin. We really loved it. :D The layout is great. Some of the people we met who had Cat 12 suites liked ours better. We had no extra noise or motion in the cabin. It may have a little more noise on the balcony, but it's not enough to be concerned about. We also found it very convenient to everything.

Hey O.P. That is about how many days out I booked 7298 (aft wrap) on the Spirit for Alaska in '09. Now I am down to about 430 days. The days do go fast if you do not think about it. I also booked 7298 for Carnival Pride about a year out. We had a great cruise in that cabin. (save a minor smut problem. has to have been and engineering thing) You will love it..

You could hear the wake of the ship, but it was soothing noise, not annoying. It didn't bother us at all. We loved being able to look out at everything.

The aft cabins on deck 4 are the only ones that have covered balconies. All the other aft cabins on the higher decks have balconies that are open.

Yep, and no soot problems on Deck 4 wraps! We were in 4228 on the Miracle in January, and other than a pretty bad leak we had from the bathroom out into the dressing room, the cabin's great! So good we've got 4237 booked for next year!:D

We agree that deck 4 is the BEST, wrap or no wrap.

No soot, plenty o' protection from the sun and (EGADS:eek: ) rain.

Plus, the bonus of the access to the "secret" staircase.

We found the other decks to be just too open and exposed for comfort.

But that's JMO. :)
