Cabin Question

Does anyone know the pros and cons to the center row of interior cabins on the Upper Deck(6) of Carnival Valor class ships. The deck plans show that these cabins are square instead of the usual rectangular shape of other interior cabins. Are they the same square footage? Are they ackward because of the different floorplan?

Thanks for any information that you may have.

I stayed in one on the Conquest - and loved it. It was much more "open". It made staying in an interior room seem less claustrophobic. I also loved how the closets and bathroom door weren't in a tiny hall like a regular room (there were no "halls" in the room). We didn't have a full-length closet though, which was only a small inconvenience, we had plenty of space overall. Also, since the square rooms were in an interior corridor (vs. the main hall), the hall noise was almost non-existent. If I did an interior again, I'd look for one of these rooms. Are you booked in one or just curious?
