Labadee ~ Can you zip-line on your own/Not through ship

The zip-line is so exspensive through the ship. Is there a way to do it on our own? Can you just walk to the zip-line place and ask to do it? Does the cruise line own the zip line place? Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

I regret to tell you that the zipline at Labadee is owned and operated by Royal Caribbean. There is no alternative but to book the zipline excursion through the ship.

 

I haven't tried it myself because I am a sniveling coward, but I have watched as others did come flying down the zipline from the moutain and out over the ocean. It looks like so much fun that I would say the price is well worth the thrills. I have NEVER heard anyone say it just wasn't worth the money. Never!

Thanks so much for the response. I inquired for my 19 year old daughter and her friend. I am too much of a coward as well. I'll book it through the ship. Thanks for letting me know.
