car rental in Santorini and beach ideas

We travel on the summit next week. After private tours in Rome and Florence, we think it would be fun to rent a car in Santorini. Any ideas how to do this, and where to go with 2 teens (12 and 14).

I'd think about doing Thira, maybe beach at Kamari (Perissa is too far/inconvenient), Profit Ilias (great views from the mountaintop, if you like that sort of thing....I do), explore Pyrgos, anfd Oia.

If you do get a rental car, drive yourself all the way out to Red Beach. The kids will love that you have to walk along a rocky path to get to the beach from the parking lot, but this beach is really picturesque and popular with many locals and tourists.
