Dawn to Bermuda

A friend of mine will be leaving n the Dawn this Sunday. The itinerary shows two full days at sea to Bermuda and one full day back to NYC. I have cruised to Bermuda twice and both times only had one full day at sea in both directions. DOes anyone know why the lengthly trip south? Thanks!

Dock space limitations at King's Wharf prevents the Dawn from docking until the third day. I'm sure NCL doesn't mind the extra day to have the casino open, though.

I will also be on the same cruise as your friend. I believe it is what most passangers wanted. The casino will be open and most people love the sea days. I know I do :D

YOur answers are what I suspected. WHen cruising the islands I also find myself hoping the port call is cancelled! Thanks for the info.

 

Kevin-Enjoy your trip. I have been to Bermuda 4 times and it gets better with each visit! Have a Rum Swizzle for me at the Swizzle Inn (the original by the airport is better but the newer one is much closer to you).
