Can I buy the bon voyage wine on board

Forgive me, I should probably know the answer

DH and I quite like the Celebrity wine we can buy through the Bon Voyage package - the Cabernet with the engraved bottle at about $24 a bottle - as a lunchtime/afternoon balcony snooze bottle. Went to book it for this next trip and was quoted an outrageous exchange rate (c $1.85 = £1) so did not complete the deal. Am I able to get bottles on board perhaps as part of room service. I know I could get the liquor package through Guest Relations - has anyone tried to do this re the wine?

Good question, UKTOG. I would like to know this as well. :)

As far as I know all wines carried on-board are available for sale on board. There is an extensive wine list in the dining room, which you can order from to have items delivered to your room - copies of the list are available at various places and sales events on the ship. There are other wines available at specialty bars like the Champagne bar and the Cova Cafe Coffee and Wine Bar. All can be ordered for your room. Now with all that said I really don't know if the bottles with the engraving are for sale through these lists - although I'd presume you can get them once on board if they are available for sale in the bon voyage department. I doubt they'd have special deliveries of wine just for those sales.

Here is a link that has several of the wine lists from Dec 2006. It is a little dated but pretty typical of what is generally available on board - I believe another Cruise Critic poster (Arubalisa) did this site. Look at the drop down menus for other pages:

Thanks, Lsimon.

uktog: don't forget that you can also take two bottles of wine per cabin on board at the port of departure. This will help to tide you over, until you get the more costly bottles on board.:)
