Using the above port cam of Galveston as a guide, can anyone describe the direction a ship (Galaxy, Nov. 1st) would enter the port and in relationship to the cam, where it would dock?

We would like to find a good area to watch as the Galaxy comes into the port for the first time on the morning of Nov. 1st.

Thanks.

Best I can tell is that the camera is pointed almost due West. The cruise ships tie up at Terminals 1 & 2 which I think would be west of this point. You should be able to see cruise ships in the upper left side of the waterway. They won't be very big since it's a few blocks from Pier 31 to the terminals.

The ships come in from behind the camera and will make a 180 degree turn on the right side of the screen and the move to the left of the screen to the dock and will be facing toward the camera. If there is a CCL ship in port it will be closer to the camera. :)
