new_cruiser Posted October 15, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2004 I'm about to book a cruise for December with the main objective being some snorkeling time (or maybe even trying a dive). Both options I'm looking at are Southern Caribbean. One is the Royal Clipper Windward Islands out of Barbados which goes to islands between there and St. Kitts. The other is the Windsurf out of St. Thomas which goes to islands from Isle Culebra, Puerto Rico to Isle Des Saintes. I recall hearing a lot about Grenada being hit hard and part of Puerto Rico getting flooding from heavy rains. I wasn't planning this trip at the time so I didn't pay close attention. Any information on how the reefs on these other islands weathered the storm? I need to decide by Monday.
