slothandle Posted July 3, 2008 #1 Share Posted July 3, 2008 Someone mentioned a cruise line will cruise to the Bahamas within the next year from Galveston, stopping in Miami, on to Nassau. Has anyone heard of this? Right now, to my knowledge only Royal Caribbean and Carnival cruise out of Galveston. Is another cruise line considering Galveston or even maybe Houston in the near future? Thanks, Pat
crdtrnr Posted July 3, 2008 #2 Share Posted July 3, 2008 The Conquest out of Galveston will be doing alternate western and eastern starting next year, January I think. More information is available on the Carnival boards.
wrp96 Posted July 4, 2008 #3 Share Posted July 4, 2008 Conquest will be doing a few Bahamas sailings (not Eastern Caribbean) out of Galveston alternating with it's western itineraries next Fall. She will visit Freeport, Nassau, and Key West. She does not stop in Miami though.
SoonerOne Posted July 7, 2008 #4 Share Posted July 7, 2008 We are booked on the Inaugral Cruise to the Bahamas, February 15, 2009 aboard the Conquest.:D The ship stops in Key West, Freeport and Nassau, Bahamas. The Conquest will be taking this new itinerary once a month, every month, starting next February. (See my clock in my signature) Our cuise is almost totally sold out, nothing left but a few inside cabins. It should be a wonderful new itinerary for those of us wanting to cruise out of Galveston:)
