country traveler Posted July 4, 2008 #1 Share Posted July 4, 2008 On a cruise tour what time does your luggage need to outside your door in the hotels?. We will be on a Princess cruise tour first in Fairbanks and then Denali. From what I have read it is put out for pick up at night. If this is true what do you do with pjs ect. sunsetbeachgal Posted July 4, 2008 #2 Share Posted July 4, 2008 HI, Just back from a cruisetour that visited (in order) Anchorage, McKinley, Denali and Fairbanks. Most mornings luggage had to be out by 7AM, I think on the last day we had until 9AM. It depends on when your transportation is leaving. They are very organized-you are given an envelope containing your room keys and instructions for that night and the following day, including luggage times, meeting times, tour times, room number, etc. You don't have to go through check-in or check out at the lodges (unless you have charged anything to your room). Very easy! Enjoy-we loved Alaska!!
travelnnana Posted July 4, 2008 #3 Share Posted July 4, 2008 We just did Fairbanks, Denali, McKinley - IN Fairbanks I think the lugguage had to be out the night before -because we left for the train first thing in the morning - In Denali out in AM - McKinley out in Am - the best thing about doing the tour first is the CRUISe luggage went out in Fairbanks and then we never saw it till we boarded the ship
