angelinapink Posted July 7, 2008 #1 Share Posted July 7, 2008 Hi I am travelling on Baltic cruise on August 11th on Fred Olsen Boudicca. I am really into yoga, pilates, aerobics and wonder how many classes they have each day. Does anyone know? Angelina
Grainstore Posted July 25, 2008 #2 Share Posted July 25, 2008 Have just came off Boudicca this morning after cruising Norwegian Fjords. Fitness room is very good and there are different classes. We had Pilates, tummy classes and stretching there is quite alot of equipment to use and Fitness instructor is female and comes from South Africa and is very good and helpful. Ships age group was mainly over 70 year olds with zimmers etc. and Aerobics and Yogo would not have gone down well. If there is alot of younger people on your cruise I am sure she would have Yogo etc. Ship has 2 x pools and 2 x jacuzzis and one pool is heated. Plenty of loungers to lie on and mealtimes are 6.30 and 8.30 and men dress most nights with ties and jackets even on informal nights. We had 2 formal nights in one week. Hope this helps. angelinapink Posted September 4, 2008 Author #4 Share Posted September 4, 2008 Well really enjoyed my cruise on Boudicca. Loved the dance classes and dancing each night to the live band. Staff all really fab, mainly filipino and so lovely and freindly. My first time on Fred Olsen line, big plus in being on a smaller ship is that it is very friendly and you do get to know the other cruisers. Food good too.
