Miami airport hotel

I'll have an overnight January 19 2009 at MIA, when flying back after my Windstar cruise out of Barbados.

I'll be there only overnight, no time for sightseeing or anything but sleeping, so I'm seeking the lowest priced hotel near the Miami airport that has shuttle service to/from the airport.

Any ideas? Thanks!

You might try Hotwire. I booked the Miami Mart Hotel for $62 for 01/16/09. They have an airport shuttle. While they have mixed reviews, it seems to be a decent hotel for a night's stay. At least for us, we'll only be in it for about 12 hours anyways.

Hi, The Sheraton Mart is a very good hotel. (Used to be a Raddison).

There is also a Marriott near by, a Sofitel, as well as a Hampton Inn.

I just booked the Miami Mart Airport Hotel, also through Hotwire (which I've never used before), and am very pleased: $63 plus tax, about half the cost of others I'd been looking at. Like you, "jkrislc", I'll be there for 12 hours max, and can think of many better ways to spend the money saved (like a snorkel trip in the Caribbean!).

The reviews are mixed, but definitely worth the price. I also figure that the attached mall will be a good and cheap place to pickup breakfast the day of the cruise.

I just read an article about the hotel and their shopping/looking for a brand name so it will likely be a Raddison, Marriott or something like that soon.

Enjoy your trip!

As far as I know, this hotel became "The Sheraton Mart". It used to be a Raddison, but it was sold.
