vossjemi Posted October 16, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 16, 2004 We will be leaving our kids behind for our cruise in jan. When we get to our ports, we'd like to be able to call home and check on everything. When we were in Jamaica and Cozumel, they had international calling stations where you could buy calling cards to call home. Does Grand Cayman have something similar? If so, where is the calling station located? And what is the approximate cost of a calling card & how many minutes do you get? Thanks!:)
98Charlie Posted October 16, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 16, 2004 As I recall when you get to the dock, turn left and it is less than a block to a Liquor store/telephone calling station. You can place your call, pay for it and be done.
Kim Posted October 16, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 16, 2004 YEs there is a calling station.....or at least there was. As you are dropped off from the tender, walk straight to the street. Usually there is a crossing guard to help people cross. Go straight behind that jewelry store....(maybe it was Columbian Emeralds??) and there on the left side of this side street is a calling station. Many phones and you go to the cashier to buy a card with minutes.

Kim Posted October 23, 2004 #5 Share Posted October 23, 2004 I'm not sure how much it was. I know I bought a card for maybe $10.00. Can't recall how many minutes I got though. Sorry
