ipod art tour

is it necessary to bring you own ipod to do the art tour or does the ship provide them?

The ship will loan you an iPod loaded with the art tour. I think you can keep it out for two hours or so. On Zuiderdam, we saw the library staff to take care of this.

 

This was great for us, since we don't have an official iPod, ours is a SanDisk product. Plus, one less thing to pack....lol.

When I signed out the ipod on the Westerdam, I believe it was for 4 hours (the ipod tour itself is about 45 minutes....)

I have taken the Ipod art tour on several ships, and it is a great way to view the ships' marvelous collection. There are things I would not have noticed had it not been for the tour. I was allowed to keep it till later in the day, but the whole tour took about an hour. For a few pieces I went back and looked at them again. I have written HAL that I think it is an excellent way to showcase their artwork. My degree is in art, and I have always been impressed!
