Live Chat

With the new features on this board you can tell how many people are currently browsing certain threads...and it's always a TON of people...

 

Wouldn't it be cool if there was a live chat feature? It would make it even more interactive and it would allow members to:

1)Pass time while at work, bored, etc...

2)Get to know fellow CCers better.

3)etc, etc, etc

 

I think the boards are fine as is - just a suggestion.

I think there was a regular live chat a long time ago. Maybe it was back in the days before the web gained popularity and CC was only on AOL? I know AOL IM has chat rooms, but I think you have to send everyone an individual real-time invite. I'm sure there's other free chat software out there, just haven't used it. A regular CC chat would be fun.

Right now with 131 (79 members & 52 guests) on this board alone things would get a little noisy, but I'll try almost anything once
