Has anyone used the shuttle from Lahaina

We are booked on a Oct cruise & after a Iao Valley excursion want to try the beaches in Kannapali. Has anyone used the Shuttle from Lanaina Cannery mall to Whalers Village. If so how far from where the ship tenders in Lahaina to the Cannery Mall , & how far from Whalers Village to the beach at Black Rock. Thank you Ray:confused:

The LCM shuttle also runs from Wharf Cinema Center. WCC is across Front St. from the tender pier area. The shuttle stop is around the back of the center. LCM is about 1-1/2 miles from the tender pier area and is the stop between WCC and Whaler's Village.

 

It's about 30 minutes shuttle (including the LCM stop). From Whaler's Village, walk out to the beach walk, turn right, and walk past The Whaler (condos) and Ka'anapali Beach Hotel. The beachwalk ends near the entrance to the Sheraton property, which is where you'll find Black Rock. The whole beach is Ka'anapali; Black Rock is the "barrier" at the north end of the beach. It's maybe 5 to 7 minutes stroll along the beach walk to the Sheraton. If you wanted to try other beaches in the Ka'anapali area, you'd need to have alternative transportation, except if you walk up and over behind the Sheraton on Keka'a Dr. to the other side of Black Rock. That's Ka'anapali-Kahekili (also called Airport beach).
