I noticed that Celebrity offers an excusrsion from St. Petersburg to Moscow. Is that a standard excursion or only offered certain times. Also, what is your opinion of giving up one of two days in St. Petersburg to head to Moscow?

We did the Moscow excursion last August. It was a trip of a lifetime. Not knowing if we would ever have the opportunity to return to Russia, we wanted the opportunity to see both Moscow and St. Petersburg. It made our vacation -- Red Square, Kremlin, Writer's Club -- it was all well worth the money to us. We were very happy we made this decision and went even though it meant meaning missing part of St. Petersburg.

Take from sombody who lived there - even it is fascinating to see Moscow and worth the money, but I would not recommend to give up one day in St. Petes. You will find that 2 days was not enough.

We did the Moscow trip 6 years ago. Don't hesistate. Do it! Was a fantastic day.
