Lavender Fields on Maui

I read recently there are some lavender fields on Maui. Has anyone seen them and where are they located? :)

I was there this past May. It was misting rain so we did not see the fields that you speak of but there is a tiny gift shop and they have some kind of lunch/ tour set up that we did not do. I was not there with a cruise, I was there for my daughters wedding and decided this would be something nice to do. Frankly, unless you have a lot of time to spend in maui, I would not waste my time. It is quite a drive and there are more things worth seeing than this unless you are just googoo over lavender. Hope this helps.:o
Oh, they did have a lot of beautiful flowers but flowers are every where in Maui.

I believe that they're up in Kula, up on the slopes of Haleakala. Would also agree that unless lavendar holds some special significance for you, it's probably not high on the must-do list. :)
