Can we start a "Picture" menu

Recommended Posts

This might be a silly question, forgive me... I am a first time cruiser.

The late night buffets... I understand the photo time and then serving time for the grand buffet, but my question is this: does anyone get served a slice with those shmancy toppings? Like the glass-like candy standing on the cakes, and the fruit toppings in the center; the standing paper-thin chocolate pieces? Or do they get taken off?

Also... is it basically a free-for-all or are people actually served? Do they replace a cake when all 10 slices are taken?

If any of that made sense.

Good questions!

Also again, does anyone know if there is a childrens menu and what is on it?

Sorry for not having the descriptions, but I forgot to write down the name of the dishes. We did have the escargot, but I think this was the spinach stuffed mushrroms.

Your pictures are beautiful and very yummy looking. Spinach stuffed mushrooms huh, they look fabulous, I'll be looking for those! Were they in the regular dining room or a speciality restaurant?

All of these pictures were from the regular dining room. The food was so good there that we didn't even consider the specialty restaurant.

Here are a few more pictures...

just wondering... when you order pizza from room service is it a whole pizza.. or a slice? and, if it's a whole pizza... how large is it? thanks

I don't recall room service having pizza. Maybe I'm brain dead today? Now you have me wondering. Anyone?

thank you for this thread! i am somewhat of a picky eater, and am very indecisive when it comes to ordering. actually seeing pictures of the food is going to help me decide what to order, and what to make sure not to miss!

it also makes me more excited about trying the supper club for the first time :)

What, no pictures of the best dessert on the high seas...Grand Mariner Souflee? That's my all-time favorite dessert! Carnival usually serves it on the last night, along with the delicious prime rib dinner. Hard to save room for my 3-4 souflees (and 50,000 calories that go with it).

LOL

Thanks for all those great pictures of Carnival's fabulous dishes! I've created a folder in "My Documents" and posted those pictures in it. In doing so, I think I gained at least 10 lbs!!!

No room service pizza on Carnival, but the pizza place is open 24 hours. You usually order by the slice, but you can order as much as you want. You can order a pizza if you want, but you need to wait while they cook it.
