Rare uktog Posted October 18, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 18, 2004 Booked for next April; There will be three of us 2 adults and one tall teenager in a Sky Suite - How much room is there when the sofa bed is pulled out for the third person - how easily can we get round Sleeping Beauty onto the balcony on the many mornings he will sleep in? Also how efficient and quick will the staff be in switching from sofa to bed and back?
ecowen Posted October 18, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 18, 2004 There will be very little room. You might have to climb over the bed to get to the balcony. You'll certainly be more comfortable than you would have been in a standard cabin, but personally I would not recommend any more than 2 adults in a Sky Suite. The Family View cabins are much bigger, so if space is a concern you might want to see if any of them are available. They usually cost about the same as a Sky Suite, but you don't get a butler or the fancy bathroom.
Rare uktog Posted October 18, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted October 18, 2004 Thanks Ecowen - no FV were left when we booked - now DH is worried, will we be able to get round the end of the bed to get into bed at night?

Yes, you will. When the couch is unfolded, you can still walk all the way around the main bed. It might be a tight squeeze, though. If you go to cruisestateroom.com you can see a 3-D view of the Sky Suite and you'll get a better idea of the layout and how much room you'll have. (But no matter what, they always seem smaller when you get there!):)
