Unique wedding invitations

Hello!! Does anyone have any unique wedding invite ideas?? I would love to send message in a bottle but, we are inviting over 400 people and the cost to ship is too expensive. I am looking for any other ideas. I have heard about passprt type invites but, cannot find them!! Thanx in advance!!

Are you inviting 400 people to your wedding on a cruiseship? Wow, and I thought we had a lot of guests who sailed with us at 52!

Do you watch the Today show? They will be having a live on-air destination wedding this year. The invitations chosen were made to look like a passport. I haven't looked but I bet if you search the NBC website you could find a picture of them. HTH

We sent out 225 Save the dates!!! We are guesstimating 75-100 people that will join us!!! I went on the today website and they dont give you the info to contact for the invitations. So, just wondering if anyone else has done anything unique?

have you thought of making your own message in a bottle that would drastically lower cost. you can get bottles with corks on places like ebottles.com. just serch in the web for Wholesale corked bottles

My MIL has a great wholesale place but, I'm still worried about shipping costs for that many invites!!!

Ive been told the plastic bottles can be sent for .65 that would be the normal invatation cost
