Eagle Ray Divers and Snorkeling

Just got back from a Western Caribbean cruise on Mariner. We have to rave about Chellie and Eagle Ray Divers as we had the best snorkeling experience ever and the reason was Chellie and her staff. She took us to two wonderful locations where we snorkeled for over 45 minutes each then she took us to a resort for lunch where we had a choice of some Americanized Mexican food or traditional American fare. All were wonderful. On the boat she provided soda, water and beer. We had the option of going to a third location after lunch, but the weather looked threatening and some of us wanted to do some shopping. By the time we got back to her dock, the taxi's were waiting as she had radioed ahead.

We have our party of 15 booked with Eagle Ray for our cruise in December. Chellie has been wonderful already, we can't wait to go!!

We have a mixed group of 9 for snorkel/scuba. Nice for us all to be on the same boat. Communication has been great. Chellie has us really excited with her vivid descriptions.

Does anyone have an idea about the cab fare to the La Calita Marina where we are meeting Eagle Ray Divers? We're on Carnival's Ectasy but I don't know which pier we will be at.

It's weird, but we were charged $3.00 pp there and $2.00 pp back. It's not very far from the terminal, but too far too walk.

Do you know what beach they took you to for lunch?

Usually lunch on the beach is provided at Nachi Cocum

I believe Eagle Ray Divers will take you to Nachi Cocom for lunch. They have both Mexican lunches (tacos, taquitas, etc.) as well as burgers. Good food. Nice beach. Clean restrooms.

 

I'm pretty sure they still go there.

Chellie said we could stay at the Beach if we wanted to after the tour and I think that's the game plan. Then we can just take a taxi back to town when we are done with the fun!!
