excursion suggestions

Hello!

We are preparing to take our 2nd cruise with our boys, ages 5 and 8, in January on the Norwegian Spirit.

Can you tell me what excusions you'd recommend with little guys?

We have already been to Costa Maya (just walked around and visited the school) and Cozumel (Paradise Beach), so we we're thinking of trying something different. Can anyone recommend a good tour in Costa Maya and a dolphin encounter in Cozumel?

We are really interested in cave tubing in Belize. I have contacted Reggie's Tours, but were wondering if there were others you'd recommend.

As for Santo Tomas de Castilla, I am at a total loss! There doesn't seem to be much there!

Thanks for all your suggestions!

on Cozumel I'm sure that the munchkins would enjoy Chankanaab Park and they do have dolphins. There is plenty of different stuff to see and do there.

There are several good tubing companies in Belize. We used Wet & Wild but I've seen rave reviews on Reggie's.

I don't know about Costa Maya now. I would play this one by ear. If Chac-chi Resort is back in business, I would go there again. We are members of the Hole-in-the-Fence Gang.

Santos Tomas I know nothing about. I want to go there but , like you, I haven't seen any info on that port.

In Belize we booked and ATV/Cave tubing tour with Yhony at cave-tubing.com We had a blast. You can just do the cavetubing if you are not interested in the ATV's.

In Cozumel my family rented a jeep ($66) and drove down to Mr. Sanchos. There the kids played on the beach and in the ocean and the the fresh water pool. They also have a small flea market there and a full bar/resturant. After that we drove all the way around the island and saw the uninhabbited side of Cozumel!

Hopes this helps you!
