It would depend on your timing and what you are looking for in a beach experience.

 

BCH is close by and great for a short timeline. It's quiet and serene, not a resort scene. Hammocks in the shade, quiet sitting areas on the lawn. There's more businessmen in jackets and ties around the pool and grill than tourists. It's a small beach, on the harbour.. some love it some hate it.

You won't fine jet skis, parasailing or banana rides here.. great place to relax and read a book. If your kids need to be entertained.. go elsewhere.

 

 

If you have the time, and you don't mind the resort crowd, then Wyndham would be my choice. Big pool, lagoon, beach, jetskis, parasailing all the bells and whistles. If you kids need to be kept busy.. this is the place.

There are for of us sailing in aug, (2 moms and 2 daughters mid twenty)and have 1 stop is Nassau. we went to the HBC and it was close and ok...Looking for an alternative. How far is the wyndam. Taxi$ cost if you know and day pass cost$. Any info would be apreciated.:)
